Soft goods design collaboration with the Cubcoats team to modify their transforming zip up to plush product. Plush needed to more closely match their character illustrations while maintaining functionality of the transformation. Head size increased, body contours changed, embroidery and features updated while still fitting sweatshirt volume for each size and keeping plush within the hood perimeter. Reverse engineering of the construction to create prototype, testing of multiple body shapes and outer contours. 3d modeling to explore shaping, translation to physical patterns and testing prototypes with custom dyeing and embroidery.
