Saleae needed a new case for their pocket-sized logic analyzer. They wanted a case that would house the components in an orderly fashion, consistent with their clean aesthetic.  The elongated form fits easily in one hand, while the zipper allows the case to open perfectly flat, facilitating access to all components. A unique pocket was created by folding a nylon foam laminate on itself to create double sided padding, protecting the components, and the top edge was angled to clearly reveal the items of differing heights. This pocket structure also forms a bonus hidden pocket for storing notebooks or other miscellany without any additional labor costs.
